Thurs, March 23 2006 - SAN JOSE (Reuters) - Sony Computer Entertainment's adventure video game "Shadow of the Colossus" took home best game honors at the Game Developers Choice Awards announced late on Wednesday in San Jose, California.

"Darwinia," Introversion Software's action-strategy title for the personal computer, won the grand prize for best independent game at the 2006 Independent Games Festival Awards, also announced Wednesday night.

I was plesantly suprised by how well-spoken and interesting David Jaffe (Game Director of God Of War) is. Had good things to say on the show, and in his blog.

And I totally agree with David Jaffe: games are overpriced, and we need shorter games (quality, not quantity).
